Your church is invited to apply to join the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches.
We are excited that you are interested in joining our state fellowship of churches and know that you will find a warm welcome, as well as a fruitful partner for your ministry. Every believer needs a church family, and every church needs a fellowship of churches. We hope the OARBC becomes yours.
The following describes your process for joining us:
A. Gather digital copies of the required documents listed below in PDF or Word format. Then fill out the online form/application below and upload the required documents. Should you not have the documents available, you can fill out the application and return to upload the documents.
The documents are:
1. Congregational Action – a letter on church letterhead expressing congregational approval for joining the OARBC
2. Church Constitution
3. Church doctrinal statement
B. Following submittal, your application and documents will be reviewed by the OARBC State Rep and a Recognition Council comprised of a few men on the OARBC Council of 12, who will also contact any current OARBC pastors with whom you have a connection.
C. The State Rep and Recognition Council will then schedule a meeting with you either in person or virtually to work through the application and church documents and ask any clarifying questions.
D. Following the interview, the Recognition Council will confer with the Council of 12 and make recommendation for approval from the OARBC.
E. Upon the Council of 12’s recommendation, your application will be submitted to the Association for approval at the next annual conference (held each October).
